Witnessing a bearish trend, Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) shed a whopping 554 points or 1.24 percent early Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The KSE-100 Index was decreased to 44,308 owing to falling prices of the shares.

A total of 292 million shares of Rs13.7 billion worth were traded in the stock market. The market capitalization suffered a loss of Rs80 billion due to the dwindling prices of shares.
