April 30, 2022 07:28 PM

Federal Minister for Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Shazia Marri Saturday said that Imran Khan is following in the footsteps of Zia ul Haq, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club, Shazia flayed Imran Khan and said the former premier was right that he would become more dangerous by leaving the post, but Imran has become dangerous not for any party but for the country.

Shazia lashed out at Imran Khan and said he broke the constitution, adding that he used religion.

Shazia stressed that steps must be taken to handle the hate campaign staged by Imran.

The Federal Minister said that Imran used NAB as a tool and attacked his opponents, adding that 11 people committed suicide due to NAB.

Shazia Marri strongly condemned the recent incident at Masjid-e-Nabvi and said that if Imran had acted ethically as the leader, his workers would never have done such a thing in the holy place.

She said that deserving persons expelled from BISP would be re-introduced to the program.

Shazia said if the President wants to stay in power, then the constitutional options are being considered to remove him.
