Shehbaz-led govt withdraws claim of ending load shedding from May 1

Despite the announcement of newly elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to end the load shedding of electricity in the country from May 01, the government has now withdrawn its claim.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Shehbaz Sharif-led government has now announced continuing load shedding of electricity up to 50 per cent only from May 01.
The Power Division said that the electricity load shedding will be reduced in the different parts of the country by 50 per cent from tomorrow.
The Power Division said the power generation will increase by 2,000 MW from May 1 and then the load shedding of electricity will be reduced gradually.
