Petrol rate to remain unchanged, diesel and kerosene reduced by Rs10pl
The federal government on Sunday kept prices of petrol unchanged effective from May 1, 2023, despite a dip in rates in the international market, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to a notification issued by Finance Division, the prices of the price of petrol would remain unchanged at Rs282 per litre for the next fortnight while the price of high-speed diesel was reduced by Rs5 per litre to Rs288.
The prices of light-diesel oil and kerosene were also reduced by Rs10 to Rs164.68 and 176.07 per litre, respectively.
The new prices will be implemented at 12:00 midnight.
After a decline in oil prices in the global market, it was expected that the price of petroleum products in Pakistan would also be decreased.
