Gold price in Pakistan drop by Rs3400 per tola
Gold prices took a sharp nosedive across Pakistan following a slump in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of 24-karat gold fell by Rs3400, settling at Rs345,800. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs2915, now priced at Rs296,467.
The decline mirrors the global trend, where gold prices slipped by $16 per ounce, bringing the international rate down to $3,289. On the flip side, silver prices showed resilience, with one tola of 24-karat silver holding dropped Rs70 and remained steady at Rs3,427.
