Priyanka Chopra’s great tribute to Irrfan Khan on his 5th death anniversary
Accomplished Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra has paid a great tribute to late co-star Irrfan Khan on his fifth death anniversary. Taking to her social media handle, the female star dropped a sweet memory from their film 7 Khoon Maaf, recalling his "incredible talent" and cinematic legacy.
In the shared pictures, Priyanka and Irrfan Khan can be seen indulging in a conversation while sitting next to each other at a picturesque location.
Captioning their moments, the female star wrote: “Thinking of you and your incredible talent.”
In case the readers are not aware, the actor Irrfan passed away at the age of 54 on April 29, 2020, after battling with a rare form of cancer.
7 Khoon Maaf is inspired by Ruskin Bond's Susanne's Seven Husbands and follows the tale of a beautiful young woman, Susanna Anna-Marie Johannes (Priyanka), who ends up marrying seven times after the premature and enigmatic deaths of her unfortunate husbands. In the movie, Priyanka's character matures from 20 to 65 years.
It is also important to mention that in 2020, Priyanka honored Irrfan Khan by stating, “The world will always remember your legacy #irrfankhan. You fought like a warrior. Rest in peace my friend. My condolences to the family.”
