Govt notifies transfers and postings of police officers, others

The federal government has notified transfer and posting of civil and police officers. Abdul Qadir Qamar of Police Service, Grade 20 has been transferred from FIA to Punjab Government. Section Officer Adeel Aslam has been transferred from Interior Division to Defence Production Division. Section Officer Yousaf Ali transferred from Defence Production Division to Establishment Division. The Establishment Division has issued official notifications of appointments and transfers.

According to notifications issued by the Establishment Division, Secretary, Maritime Affairs Division Zafar Ali Shah has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division, while Secretary, Ministry of Education Nadeem Mehboob has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Maritime Affairs Division.

The federal government has appointed Major General (retd) Muhammad Kashif Azad, Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) as Member, Federal Public Service Commission. 

According to a notification, the appointment will be effective for a period of 3 years or till the age of 65 years (whichever is earlier) and the period of appointment will be applicable from the date of assuming office.

Joint Secretary IT Division Nazir Ahmed has been made OSD while Deputy Secretary Ministry of Industries and Production Ali Qaim has been directed to report to the Establishment Division. 

The services of Deputy Secretary Defense Division Nasir Durrani have been entrusted to the Benazir Income Support Program, while Section Officer Muhammad Mumtaz has been transferred from the Establishment Division to the Religious Affairs Division, Section Officer Adeel Aslam has been transferred from the Interior Division to the Defense Production Division, and Section Officer Yousaf Ali has been transferred from the Defense Production Division to the Establishment Division.

Ramesh Hassan Rana, Section Officer, Federal Education Division, pending appointment, Ashfaq Ahmed Panhwar, Section Officer, Cabinet Division, Haroon Arshad Mian and Asad Hussain, Section Officers, Establishment Division, while the transfer of Anam Gulrez Mir, pending appointment, as Section Officer, Federal Education Division has been cancelled. On the other hand, as per the orders of appointments and transfers of officers of the Police Service of Pakistan, Muhammad Abdul Qadir Qamar, Police Service, Grade 20, has been transferred from the FIA to the Punjab Government and Rana Umar Farooq, Police Service, Grade 19, posted in the Punjab Government, has been transferred to the Islamabad Police, while the services of Faisal Mukhtar, Police Service, Grade 19, pending appointment, have been transferred to the Punjab Government.

Meanwhile, newly appointed inspectors trained in FIA have been deployed. 110 inspectors have been deployed in different zones across the country. All inspectors have been ordered to report to their respective stations immediately. All inspectors will be given weapons training, live fire training and other training. All inspectors will be given further training as per the orders and schedule of the Director of Training FIA.
