A flood-hit woman currently staying in a camp set up in Karachi for the flood affectees gave birth to a child on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

This was the first ever birth of a child among the flood affectess. 

The woman who hails from Garhi Khairu delivered the baby in Dow University Hospital.

The woman's kin took her to the hospital in an ambulance. 

According to hospital staff, both mother and newborn baby are in good health.
