SC denies having Twitter account, orders FIA to track down handlers

The Supreme Court of Pakistan denies having any Twitter account while directing the Federal Investigation Agency and other relevant institutions to investigate the handlers and facilitators of the fake Twitter accounts being run under the name of country’s apex court, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

The spokesperson for the Supreme Court said on Tuesday that the top court did not hold any Twitter account nor did it have any other accounts on varied social media platforms including Facebook.

He said the Supreme Court directed the FIA and other relevant agencies to look into the fake Twitter account matter and directed them to take action against the handlers of these fake accounts.
