The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Balochistan has gunned down four terrorists in a gunbattle in Pishin district, reported 24NewsHDTV channel on Wednesday.

After receiving information, the CTD personnel launched an operation in Sarkhab area of Pishin to get hold of the terrorists, belonging to an outlawed group.

The raid resulted in an intense exchange of gunfire between the two sides. Resultantly, four terrorists were killed.

The CTD team also seized weapons, explosives and ammunition from the hideout of the militants, who were reportedly involved in murders, abductions and other cases.

According to a CTD spokesman, the slain terrorists were plotting to carry out militant activities in the region.

The spokesman said a specialized CTD team was dispatched to the area after receiving information about presence of terrorists there.
