Twin babies died allegedly due to doctors’ negligence at Tangwani Rural Health Centre, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Mashuq Ali Malik, a resident of Madrasa Mohalla, took his wife to the hospital for child delivery.

As the woman gave birth to twins, they were put on oxygen.

However, the children died in pain due to the lack of oxygen in the hospital.

“The children did not get oxygen. The doctors did not pay attention to them,” Mashuq Ali alleged.

“Action should be taken against negligent doctors. They should be brought to justice,” he demanded.

The mother was overwhelmed by grief over the death of the children.

“The children were alive when they were born. They died as there was no child specialist in the hospital,” Dr Mumtaz said.

“The children were referred to another hospital, but they could not survive,” he added.
