Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Vice-President Maryam Nawaz called upon Pakistan Democratic Movement President Fazlur Rehman at the latter’s residence on Wednesday.

Maryam Nawaz’ spouse Safdar and Marriyum Aurangzeb and other key leaders of PDM were present. Maryam visited Fazl after the 11-party alliance met to deliberate upon future line of action, resignations and Senate vote.

Reports of ‘cracks’ in the opposition alliance are being aired. The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) CEC expressed its resolve to give a tough time to the ruling PTI from within the assemblies and to contest the upcoming Senate vote.

Sources said the PPP will go for reviewing its decision on resignations if former premier returns from the UK while the PML-N leadership said Nawaz will come back as soon as his medical treatment ends.
