An aged and frail man in Jhelum, who was earlier receiving just Rs156 in pension, will now get Rs12,000 following 24News aired a news report about him a few days back, highlighting the ordeal he was going through, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Talking to 24News, Baba Muhammad Hussain said he was grateful to the channel for taking up his issue.

He said he had been receiving a meager amount for the last several years which was by no means adequate in these times of inflation. 

Now, he went on to add, it would be convenient for him to meet his and his family’s expenses, and for that, the credit went to 24News TV channel.
