Govt presents Toshakhana register in court
A special central court of Rawalpindi has adjourned the hearing of the Toshakhana-II case till January 2, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
During the hearing of the case conducted in Adiyala Jail, the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) third witness, Officer Cabinet Division Benjamin, recorded his statement in the court.
A list of 108 gifts received by the founder of Pakistan, Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was also submitted along with the statement to the court.
The Toshakhana's gift register was also presented in court. Bushra Bibi's lawyers, Faisal Chaudhry, Qauseen Mufti, Ali Ijaz Butter, and Rai Suleman Tabish, cross-examined the witness.
The hearing was conducted by FIA's Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand.
Barrister Gohar, Suleman Akram Raja, Aleema Khan, Noreen Niazi, and Uzma Khan were also present in the court.
