Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani for signing of 'Charter of Economy'

Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on Monday stressed the need for signing a ‘Charter of Economy’ akin to the ‘Charter of Democracy’, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

Talking to the members of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce, he said there was a need to move forward. 

He further said that the country would only become economically stable when there would be political stability. “The economic policies must continue so that the country could become financially prosperous.”

Gilani went on to say that talks were being held with the PTI so that democracy in the country could flourish. “Representatives of all political parties are included in the committee formed for the purpose,” he added.
