Foreigners throng snow festival in Madaklasht Chitral

Hindukush Snow Festival in Madaklasht Chitral has been taking place which is being attended by more than 500 skiers, including 10 foreign athletes and trainers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The competitions of skiing, snowboarding, ice skiing and ice hockey are taking place in Hindukush Snow Festival in Chitral.
Chitral Assistant Commissioner Darosh Abdul Haq inaugurated the festival. On the opening day, foreign trainers gave training to local players. The three-day festival will conclude on January 31 (Sunday).
The festival will also feature Barbie Bee Night and concerts, including competitions, the TV channel reported.
Abid Majeed, Secretary Sports, Tourism, Archeology, Culture & Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on his personnel Twitter account said, “Fresh Clicks all the way from Hindukush Snow Festival Madaklasht Chitral which started on Friday freshening indeed to see locals participate and join in the festivities and all #MesmerisingKhyberPakhtunkhwa.”
