The Punjab government has issued a notification appointing DIG Sohail Akhtar Sukhera to the post of DIG Investigation, Lahore and Rana Ayaz Saleem as CPO Gujranwala.

Sohail Akhtar Sukhera was earlier serving as DIG Telecommunication and Transport.

According to details, DIG Sohail Akhtar Sukhera joined Pakistan Police Service as ASP in 2001, he belongs to 28th Common of Pakistan Police Service.  During his professional career, Sohail Akhtar Sukhera has served as DIG Operations Punjab, DIG PHP, DIG VVIP Security and DIG Training Punjab.

Sohail Sukhira has also been posted as SSP Internal Accountability Division Lahore, Operations Lahore and Central Police Office as AIG Logistics and AIG Admin and Security.

Sohail Sukhera has also held duties in National Highway and Motorway Police and CTD.

Apart from Lahore, Sohail Sukhera held various posts in Toba Tek Singh, Sialkot, Islamabad, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Multan. Sohail Akhtar Sukhera is one of the most honest, dutiful and capable officers of the Pakistan Police Service.

He has proved his abilities by performing every responsibility in the course of his professional career very well.

New CPO Rana Ayaz Saleem was earlier posted as SSP Telecommunication and Transport.

According to the details, Rana Ayaz Saleem belongs to the 31st Common of the Police Service of Pakistan.  He joined Police Service of Pakistan in 2004 as ASP.  Rana Ayaz Saleem served as DPO Khanewal, Sahiwal, Nankana Sahib and Attock.  Rana Ayaz Saleem has also been posted as SSP Admin and SSP Investigation Lahore.

Rana Ayaz Saleem has also been posted as SP Model Town Lahore and Sadar Faisalabad. He was also posted as SDPO Chiniot Circle Jhang, Defense Circle Lahore. At the beginning of his career, Rana Ayaz Saleem also served as ASP Derakhshan Karachi, Ferozeabad Karachi and Kharadar Karachi.

During his professional career, Rana Ayaz Saleem has held important positions in various districts of Punjab and Sindh. He has served in Central Police Office Karachi and Lahore as well as Special Branch Punjab and is considered as a crime fighter and the best supervisor.
