Biometric mandatory for Hajj visas, pilgrims advised to use ‘Saudi Visa Bio’ app

The Ministry of Religious Affairs on Friday informed Hajj pilgrims that the Saudi government has made biometric mandatory for issuance of Hajj visas.

According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, pilgrims can complete their biometric verification at home through the “Saudi Visa Bio” mobile application.

The spokesperson emphasized that Saudi biometric is compulsory for obtaining a Hajj visa. In cases where pilgrims are unable to complete the process through the app, they have been advised to visit the nearest Saudi Tasheer Centre to complete their biometric before February 8.

The ministry warned that no Hajj visa will be issued without completion of the biometric process.
