The US dollar continued its upward journey against the Pakistani rupee as it gained another 71 paisas on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In the inter-bank trading, the greenback scored a handsome gain as the trading started.

It was trading on Rs162.60 in the mid-day as it started the day at Rs161.89, forex dealers said.
