Lahore High Court issues revised judges roster for fifth week of summer vacation

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has released a revised roster of judges for the fifth week of summer vacation, confirming that ten judges, including Chief Justice Alia Neelum, will continue to hear cases at the court’s principal seat in Lahore.

The updated roster was issued following the approval of Chief Justice Alia Neelum, and outlines the formation of four division benches and ten single benches for the upcoming week.

Division Bench No. 1, comprising Chief Justice Alia Neelum and Justice Abhar Gul, will hear all categories of cases, while Division Benches No. 2 and 3, led by Justices Shahid Karim, Raja Ghanzafar Ali Khan, Waqar Haider Awan, and Khalid Ishaq, will focus exclusively on civil matters. Division Bench No. 4, featuring Justices Malik Muhammad Owais Khalid and Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh, will handle criminal cases.

All judges serving on division benches will also serve as single benches during this period. The list of judges hearing cases individually includes Justice Shahid Karim, Justice Raheel Kamran, Justice Waqar Haider Awan, Justice Sardar Akbar Ali Dogar, Justice Khalid Ishaq, Justice Malik Muhammad Owais Khalid, Justice Raja Ghanzafar Ali Khan, Justice Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh, and Justice Abhar Gul, alongside the Chief Justice herself.
