Love-marriage couple shot dead at dinner table in Mastung

A couple was shot dead after six years of their “love marriage” in Mastung area of Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The incident took place in Lakpass area near Mastung. Levies Force SHO Pir Jan said that the couple was invited by their brothers to participate in a dinner party, but later they opened fire on them resulting in their death on the spot.

The SHO said that the couple married in court and later settled in Panjgur district of Balochistan.

The man was a resident of Panjgur while the woman belonged to Quetta. The woman was pregnant at the time of her death.

The dead man was identified as Shoaib, and the name of woman was Benazir.

The couple has two children, but they left them at their uncle’s house and decided to attend the party by themselves.
