NADRA wins three honours at Pakistan’s inaugural public-sector digital transformation awards

The National Database and Registration Authority has won three awards for its digital services and technology initiatives at the TAF-ABL Public Sector Digital Transformation Awards 2026.

The awards, described by the organisers as Pakistan’s first dedicated honours for public-sector digital transformation, recognised NADRA’s work in improving citizen services, online government systems and financial technology solutions.

NADRA received the Citizen Experience of the Year award for its PakID Mobile App, which allows citizens to access identity-related services through a digital platform.

The authority was also presented with the Excellence in Digital Transformation award for the Pakistan Online Visa System, commonly known as POVS.

The online visa platform was recognised for digitising and streamlining the visa application process and improving access for applicants seeking Pakistani visas.

NADRA Technologies Limited, the authority’s technology arm, won the FinTech Solution of the Year award for e-Sahulat.

The e-Sahulat platform provides technology-enabled payment and service-delivery facilities through a nationwide network, helping citizens access a range of public and private services.

Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja presented the awards to the winners.

The ceremony was organised by the Tech Advisory Forum in collaboration with Allied Bank Limited.

The three awards highlight NADRA’s growing role in the digitalisation of public services and the development of technology-based systems aimed at making government services more accessible, efficient and citizen-focused.
