Sindh restores six-day week in schools, colleges
The Government of Sindh has decided to restore a six-day working week for all public and private schools and colleges across the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to an official notification issued by the Sindh Education Department on Thursday, the new schedule will come into effect from 1 August.
Under the revised policy, educational institutions will conduct regular teaching activities six days a week, from Monday to Saturday.
The decision applies to all government and private educational institutions in Sindh, including schools and colleges. The move is aimed at ensuring the continuation of academic activities and improving the overall learning process.
The Sindh Education Department has formally notified all concerned institutions to implement the new working schedule from the announced date.
An official notification has been issued, and all educational institutions are directed to comply with the revised six-day academic week.
