Zainab Raja claims Fahad Sheikh's 'jokes' often made people uncomfortable
Former Tamasha contestant and actress Zainab Raja has come forward with her own experience, alleging that the actor Fahad Sheikh often made colleagues uncomfortable under the guise of humor while also condemning his alleged treatment of veteran actor Syed Mohammed Ahmed.
A comment shared by Zainab Raja has gone viral across social media, in which she recalled working alongside Fahad Sheikh on Green Entertainment's Wonderland. According to the actress, his behavior frequently crossed professional boundaries.
She wrote:
"I have worked with him in Wonderland on Green, and he used to make people uncomfortable in the name of mazak (jokes)."
Zainab also strongly reacted to the ongoing controversy involving veteran actor and writer Syed Mohammed Ahmed, expressing disappointment over the alleged incident.
She wrote:
"What he has done with Mohammed Ahmed Sahab is heartbreaking and disgusting. I can't imagine someone doing this to our parents. How can someone do that to such a pyara insan."
Her remarks surfaced shortly after an alleged behind the scenes video circulated online, purportedly showing Fahad Sheikh mocking Syed Mohammed Ahmed's bald head while others on set laughed. The video has fueled widespread criticism on social media, with many viewers saying the veteran actor appeared visibly uncomfortable during the incident.
The controversy first came to light after Syed Mohammed Ahmed revealed during a recent podcast that a much younger lead actor had allegedly ridiculed his appearance, baldness, and acting style on set. Although Ahmed did not publicly identify the individual, social media users began speculating about the actor's identity following the circulation of the alleged video.
Since then, several prominent members of Pakistan's entertainment fraternity, including Syed Jibran, Faysal Quraishi, Shamoon Abbasi, Omair Rana, and others, have publicly expressed solidarity with the veteran artist. Many urged the alleged junior actor to issue a public apology, while praising Syed Mohammed Ahmed for maintaining his dignity throughout the ordeal.
Ahmed himself later shared an emotional Instagram post thanking colleagues for their overwhelming support, saying the industry's response reminded him that it was "not just a fraternity, but a family."
