Iranian ambassador slams Karachi terror attack, praises Pakistan Army

Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, on Monday condemned the terrorist attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange and expressed the hope that Pakistan would “get rid of terrorist residuals” soon.
Reacting to the terrorist incident, which took place in Karachi on Monday morning, the Iranian ambassador took to Twitter to express his feelings and support for Pakistan. He praised the “valorous army of Pakistan” for defeating the terrorists in “all fields” and said that now terrorists were looking for new targets to show their “hypothetical” strength.
Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini’s post reads: “Defeated in all fields by valorous army of Pakistan, moribund terrorists resorted to new targetings to show their "hypothetical" strength. We categorically condemn their attack to stock exchange and hope that Pakistan get rid of terrorist residuals. #KarachiTerroristAttack”

On Monday morning, security forces killed at least four terrorists who attempted to storm the Pakistan Stock Exchange compound in Karachi in a gun and grenade attack. According to a police statement, one sub-inspector and three security guards were martyred in the attack. Seven people, including three police officials, were injured, the statement said.
