Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed the health department to submit a comprehensive plan to fully functionalise OPDs and operation theatres of public sector hospitals.

“Required steps should be taken within 10 days to facilitate the patients,” he said while presiding over a meeting here on Monday. Health Minister Yasmin Rashid and top officials attended the meeting.

The CM directed the health minister to nominate focal persons for the complete operationalisation of OPDs and operation theatres in every district and a public awareness campaign

He expressed satisfaction at measures to stem coronavirus spread as the number of cases declines and praised the medics for playing pivotal role in war on the deadly virus.
