Mehar Bano exposes dark side of entertainment industry 

Popular Pakistani actress Mehar Bano opened up about the dark side of the entertainment Industry while having a discussion with the well-known host Tabish Hashmi.

She appeared on the popular show ‘Hasna Mana Ha’ where someone from the audience asked: “The onset showbiz industry looks very glamorous. So, what are the hurdles that you, as a female artist, have to face?”

Mehar Bano replied, “Every industry has a dark side, and so does ours. But ours is a bit more as beautiful faces are involved. People want to meet those personalities and talk to them. There are many girls and boys who face harassment, onset or off-set. And sometimes you also have to face a situation where you have to fulfil their 'certain' demands to get roles in the projects. And this is happening even in 2025." 

The host asked “Do you only face harassment? Or also perform the acts to fulfil their demands to get a role in the industry?

Mehar Bano responded: “ You have to deal with both, harassment and their desires.”

Mehar Bano mostly remains at the centre of controversy due to her bold personality, revealing outfits and dances videos.

She resides abroad with her husband and is quite active on social media as she has a knack for sharing her personal and professional life with her Instagram family.
