Two women died, 15 injured in Jaranwala road accident

As many as two women lost their lives, and fifteen received critical injuries when a Mini Shehzore truck overturned while turning after a tyre burst in Jaranwala, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

Rescue 1122 sources said that due to overspeeding, the truck driver lost control and the truck came down from the motorway.

All the family members were residents of Kahna, Lahore, and were going to Taranda Muhammad Panah in Rahim Yar Khan to express condolence over the death of their relative.

Soon after the incident, the Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and immediately provided first aid to three people, while the remaining twelve injured persons were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) in Janranwala.
