Man clubs wife to death over domestic issue in Lahore

A man murdered his wife with repeated blows of a club, which police said was over a domestic issue in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to details, police have arrested the suspected murderer, identified as Amanullah, with the murder weapon. The woman was identified as Kalsoom. They married three years ago and had a two-year-old son.

According to the police, the couple had contracted a love marriage. On the day of the incident, they developed a dispute, which led the man to club his wife to death.

Having been informed, police rushed to the crime scene and sent the body to the hospital for medicolegal formalities. Further investigation was underway.

Woman shot dead in Manga Mandi

A woman died on the spot when some unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire on  her in Manga Mandi.

The firing incident occurred near Khokhar Chowk in Manga Mandi. The dead woman was later identified as Kiran Bibi, who was 40.

A Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body of a woman to the hospital’s mortuary for a post-mortem.

The police, after registering a case, started an investigation from different angles.
