5.3-magnitude earthquake jolts parts of KP

A 5.3 magnitude earthquake jolted different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday night.
According to details, the tremors were felt in Peshawar, Abbottabad, Chitral, Swat, Mardan, Shangla, Malakand, Mohmand, Bajaur, Batgram, Kohistan, Kohat, Bannu, Buner, Lower Dir, Upper Dir, North Waziristan, Takht Bhai, Abbottabad and surrounding areas.
The epicenter of the earthquake was Hindukash region in Afghanistan and 221 km inside earth crust.
Following the tremors, the people came out of their houses. There were no reports of loss of lives and property.
