According to local hospital authorities, fashion designer Maria B's chef tested negative for coronavirus.
On March 26, blood tests for the 30 year old chef employed by the designer based in Lahore returned negative, Medical Superintendent Dr. Faazil told media at Vehari District Headquarters.
The chef was shifted to the isolation ward of the Vehari DHQ hospital.
His blood samples had been sent to the institute of Public Health lab in Lahore for another test for coronavirus and the result came out negative on March 26.
The man was asymptomatic, according to Dr Faazil, and will possibly be discharged within the next 24 hours and there are no positive cases in the district so far.
Earlier, Maria B’s video surfaced on the internet and the fashion mogul was seen crying and demanding justice for her husband.
According to reports, her husband was taken into custody for sending his cook who had tested positive for coronavirus to his village in Vihari, Punjab.
