President Dr Arif Alvi visited a quarantine centre at the University of Engineering and Technology Taxila on Monday to review arrangements for the patients. 

The first lady Begum Samina Alvi also accompanied him during the visit.

President Dr Arif Alvi was apprised that the quarantine centre has the capacity to adjust about 600 patients. President Alvi was briefed that all arrangements have been made for the provision of all facilities to the patients at the Quarantine centre.

The president was briefed that the protective equipment has been provided to the paramedical staff present in the Quarantine centre. 

President Alvi expressed confidence over the arrangements and measures taken for the care of patients in the quarantine centre. President also directed to effectively look after the corona affectees.

During the visit of President Dr Arif Alvi the special attention was paid on the matter of social distancing and all the precautionary measures were taken in this regard.
