Emirati, Chinese, Canadian, Danish ambassadors call on Gen Bajwa

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), media wing of the Pakistan Army, ambassadors of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Canada, Denmark and China called on the army chief and discussed matters of mutual interest and regional security. Pakistan’s relations with the European Union also came under discussion during the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, General Bajwa said that Pakistan gives importance to its relations with the EU member states and Canada. He said that Pakistan wanted to promote different sectors in partnership with different countries. According to the ISPR, the ambassadors praised Pakistan’s role for regional peace and stability. They also admired Pakistan’s role in the Afghan peace process.
Talking to the Chinese ambassador to Pakistan, the army chief thanked China for helping Pakistan in the fight against coronavirus. He said the Pakistan Army gives special importance to its relations with China.
