Punjab Higher Education Minister Raja Yasir Humayun Tuesday paid surprise visits to vaccination markaz Expo Centre Lahore, Jinnah Hospital and Police Station Shadman.

He inspected the basic facilities being provided to the senior citizens in the vaccination centre. He also observed cleanliness and availability of medicines to the general public in Jinnah Hospital and checked the attendance of police staff in police station Shadman.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has assigned special task to provincial minister Raja Yasir and made him incharge administration of Lahore to inspect the performance of all departments i.e LWMC, health, police, PHA and others.

Minister for Higher Education/Incharge Lahore Raja Yasir is conducting surprise visits to different departments, offices and places to observe the real picture of the performance of all these departments. He visited vaccination markaz Expo Centre Lahore to inspect the availability of vaccination for the citizens and observed the facilities being provided at the centre to the senior citizens. Assistant Commissioner Raiwind Adnan Rasheed briefed the minister regarding the performance of the centre.

He said that hundreds of senior citizens visited the centre daily who are vaccinated at centre without wasting of their time. For the said purpose trained staff has been posted here in this centre. Raja Yasir inquired about the facilities and dealing of the staff from the elderly citizens who were present there for the purpose of vaccination.

Later on, he visited Jinnah Hospital and observed the cleanliness, availability of the medicines and facilities for the corona patients. He directed MS Jinnah Hospital to make the security of the corona ward stricter so that entry of irrelevant people in the said ward may be stopped. Furthermore, he said that doctors and paramedics are front foot warriors against corona and the whole nation salutes their fight for this noble cause.

Later on, provincial minister Raja Yasir Humayun paid a surprise visit to the police station Shadman and checked the attendance of staff, the performance of front desk staff, observed the record of registration and investigation. Speaking on the occasion, Raja Yasir said that the Tehrik-e-Insaf government is trying to raise the standard of the common man.
