A flight of private airline —Air Blue — was not able to take off from the Sharjah International Airport to Peshawar International Airport due to technical fault, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The passengers of the flight PA-613 have been waiting at the Sharjah Airport for the last 24 hours.

Air Blue administration has not arranged any alternative flight and arrangements to fly back the passengers to Peshawar.

The passengers alleged that they have not been provided with any food supplies as the airline's plane developed technical fault and they were on their own at the Sharjah Airport.

The concerned passengers said that they have not been provided with the updated information about the revised flight schedule to Peshawar.

An Air Blue spokesperson said that the plane has been grounded at the Sharjah Airport after a technical fault appeared.

“The engineers’ team along with the necessary parts of the planes have been dispatched to the Sharjah Airport from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport,” the spokesperson said.
