KP won't support any anti-people measure, warns Sohail Afridi
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi warned on Monday that the provincial government would not support any decision that goes against the interests of the people, raising serious concerns over the distribution of the National Finance Commission (NFC) award.
Speaking to the media, CM Afrid said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was not being given its due share under the NFC award, alleging that other provinces were dividing the funds among themselves in an unconstitutional manner.
He stated that the rights of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were being undermined, and the issue was strongly raised during the recent meeting. He emphasized that his government would continue to advocate for the province’s constitutional rights and ensure that its financial share is protected, warning against any unjust distribution of resources.
