PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz on Saturday said the opponents had tried their best to kill Nawaz Sharif but Almighty Allah saved him.

Without naming the PTI, Maryam in a tweet said they were feeling the pain because they could not hurt Nawaz despite utilising all of their force and the indiscriminate use of powers.

The fear of Nawaz, she said, neither let them have a peaceful life nor enjoy the government. It is their punishment, remarked Maryam.

The former prime minister’s daughter was commenting on the reaction shown by the ruling party leaders, like Fawad Chaudhry, over the latest images circulating on social media.

In this image, Nawaz can be seen sitting outdoor at some café while having a cup of tea or coffee with some female family members.

Maryam, in another tweet, said the purpose of circulating the image was to insult and abuse the PML-N supremo but the move produced an opposite result.

It isn’t difficult to secretly get the images of Nawaz along with the women and daughters of the family for those people who had attempted to capture the images of my ailing mother by trying to enter ICU forcibly, said the former prime minister political heir.

Why did they do this secretly if it was such a pious act, questioned Maryam.
