PML-N to propose shadow-budget on June 3

The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Sunday decided to propose a ‘shadow budget’ with some pro-poor economic proposals for the government in the upcoming federal budget 2021-22 on June 3.
According to 24NewsHD TV Channel, the PML-N Sunday held its Economic Advisory Council’s (EAC) virtual meeting in former finance minister Ishaq Dar especially participated from London.
The PML-N president presided over the meeting and advised the council members to present their proposals to protect the financial interests of the general public of Pakistan.
In the meeting, it was decided that the party would hold a pre-budget seminar to aware the masses of the bad economic policies of the ruling PTI that were being imposed on poor masses deliberately.
The meeting also decided that they would try their best to resist the government's bid to stop passing the federal budget in the National Assembly (NA) at any cost. The meeting also declared the figures and data provided by the PTI government to show its progress was fake and unreliable and a clear betrayal with the nation.
Former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ahsan Iqbal, Muftah Ismail, Mushahid Hussain Syed, Muhammad Zubair, Khurram Dastigar Khan, Maryam Aurangzeb, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, Ayesha Ghous Pasha, Musaddiq Malik, Ataullah Tarar, Ali Pervez, and Bilal Azhar Kayani also participated in the meeting.
