Govt set to tighten noose around nurses working in private nursing colleges

The government is all set to tighten the noose around the nurses working in the private nursing colleges. 

According to a circular issued by the specialized health department to the nursing DG, the government nurses are not allowed to work with the private sector, even part-time. 

The government nursing colleges lack the staff, the circular noted, adding that the private colleges showed these nurses as their faculty. 

According to sources, 57 government nurses working at the private institutes have so far faced the music.
