Assassinated PM Liaquat Ali Khan’s son Akbar passes away in Karachi

Akbar Liaquat Ali, son of Pakistan's first Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan who was assassinated in 1951, died in Karachi on Wednesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Akbar Liaquat Ali Khan was suffering from kidney disease and undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
His funeral prayer will be offered tomorrow, Thursday, December 01, after Asr prayer. He will be buried at the graveyard of Defense Phase-8.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Akbar Liaquat Ali Khan.
CM Sindh Murad has directed the Deputy Commissioner East Karachi to help the heirs with the burial arrangements of the deceased.
On the direction of the CM, the deputy commissioner reached the Eastern Private Hospital.
The channel report said that the dead body of Akbar Ali Khan will be kept in the mortuary tonight and will be moved from the mortuary to his residence at Guzri tomorrow (Thursday) morning.
