Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday said democracy has to be strengthened to solve the country’s problems.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Bilawal addressed a big public meeting at Nishtar Park in Karachi to celebrate his party’s 55th Foundation Day on Wednesday.
Addressing the charged workers, Bilawal assured the Karachiites that the next mayor of Karachi will be a worker of PPP as the people of Karachi have won their hearts by holding a big rally in Nishtar Park.
Bilawal said they have chased away 3 dictators while chanting the slogan of “Jiay Bhutto” and rejected the politics of anarchy at every stage in the country.
He said PPP is a chain of four provinces and it believes in the politics of hope instead of hatred. He said PPP strengthened democracy by fighting dictatorship ever.
The PPP chairman said his party has given a unanimous constitution to Pakistan because there is a need to make strengthen democracy to solve the issue facing the country.
PPP Chairman Bilawal further said that the PPP leadership always accepted martyrdom but never compromise principles and had never taken a U-turn on the principle standings.

Bilawal said the threat of resignation from Imran Khan is a deceit because they will never resign from the provincial assemblies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.
Anyhow, he added that if PTI wants to resign, give it as PPP is ready to compete with it. He added that the PPP workers have given a big defeat to the 'Selected' (Imran Khan) in by-elections in Malir and Multan.

Bilawal said his mother Bibi Shaheed also did not compromise on the principles despite the difficulties.
The PPP chairman said it is wrongly said that the leader takes the U-turn. He added that genuine leaders never take U-turns and always stick to their principle stands.
He gave a reference to Benazir Bhutto Shaheed and said she stood up in Rawalpindi and challenged the dictators and terrorists of the time to promote the politics of conscience in the country.
Bilawal said the real conspiracy of the assassination was done against his mother Bibi Shaheed in 2007 but nowadays there is talk of a fake conspiracy.

Bilawal said even when his mother Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was martyred by a real conspiracy, he did not do the politics of hatred.

Bilawal said every time the government of PPP in the past was overthrown by conspiracy but Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto used to forget the atrocities on her.

He said he never talked about personal revenge and always called democracy as revenge while former President Asif Ali Zardari has a belief in the slogan of "Ek Zardari--Sab Se Yari" (Zardari is a friend of all).
Bilawal said a conspiracy was made against the PPP to fix it with the wall by setting up a puppet party but his party will compete with the opponents in the political arena as they believe in the power of the people and the vote.
He said they ousted the "Selected" ruler using constitutional weapons. He asked the political opponents to stop the conspiracy against democracy.
Bilawal said the "Selected" has become worried after the announcement about the non-political role of the institutions.
He said chaos is being spread to save the theft of watch, Gogi, and Alima Baji.

PPP Chairman Imran said Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto brought back 95,000 prisoners of war and took back 5,000 square kilometers of land from the enemy.

He said PPP’s founder martyred leader gave a constitution and identity to all the provinces while he also gave the right to vote to every Pakistani, rights to peasants, laborers, and the right of unions to workers and students.

Bilawal termed the workers the backbone of his party and said “Roti, Kapra Aur Makan” was their slogan in the past and they still believe in it today.
