Israeli drone strike kills two children amid Gaza ceasefire violations

Israeli military violations of the Gaza ceasefire continued on Sunday as a drone strike in Khan Younis killed two Palestinian children, aged 8 and 10. 

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the boys had gone out to collect firewood when the attack occurred.

The Israeli army has reportedly conducted a series of ground, aerial, and naval operations across various parts of Gaza, despite the ceasefire agreement signed on 10 October.

Since that accord, more than 350 Palestinians have lost their lives in Israeli attacks.

The ongoing conflict, now spanning two years, has claimed the lives of over 70,000 Palestinians, highlighting the devastating humanitarian impact on civilians, particularly children. 

Human rights observers continue to express concern over violations of international law and the safety of non-combatants in the region.
