Justin and Hailey Bieber look tense on Thanksgiving getaway after birthday snub

Justin and Hailey Bieber were spotted with strained expressions during a casual outing in Palm Springs over the Thanksgiving weekend, fueling speculation about tension in their marriage.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2018 and share a one-year-old son, Jack Blues, have faced public scrutiny over their relationship throughout the year. Justin addressed the rumours earlier in July with his album Swag, where he candidly reflected on their struggles while reaffirming he “will not” leave Hailey.

Despite efforts to show unity, new questions emerged when Justin publicly failed to acknowledge Hailey’s 29th birthday last Saturday. While Hailey shared warm tributes from friends such as Kylie Jenner, Lori Harvey, Justine Skye, and Camila Morrone, Justin remained conspicuously absent from her social media celebrations.

Days later, the couple were seen together in Palm Springs, where tension seemed apparent. Justin, focused on his phone, sported a camouflage jacket, a white t-shirt, moss green shorts, and Adidas sneakers. Hailey, niece of Alec Baldwin, opted for a black sweatsuit paired with black New Balance sneakers.

Although Justin skipped Hailey’s candlelit pre-birthday dinner in Palm Springs, he later shared an Instagram slideshow celebrating her “best week,” which included a short video of the couple holding hands on a stroll. Meanwhile, Hailey posted moments from her day, including a TikTok of Jack Blues playfully using a makeup brush on her, and glimpses of a white floral centrepiece and custom birthday cards.
