Pakistani Cultural Week begins with vibrant parade and electrifying Abrarul Haq performance in Riyadh
The Pakistani Cultural Week opened with great enthusiasm in Riyadh as thousands of people gathered to celebrate Pakistan’s rich heritage during Riyadh Season, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
On the first day of the cultural festival, a grand parade showcasing the colours, traditions, and diversity of all four provinces of Pakistan captivated the attendees.
Dressed in traditional attire, performers highlighted the country’s vibrant cultural identity, drawing applause from both Pakistani attendees and international visitors.
The highlight of the evening came when renowned Pakistani singer Abrarul Haq took the stage, dazzling the crowd with his high-energy performance.
Singing his iconic hits, he had thousands of fans dancing along, turning the venue into a lively celebration of Pakistani music.
For the Pakistani Cultural Week, prominent social media influencers and representatives from various Pakistani media houses were specially invited from Pakistan.
Officials from the Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh also attended the event.
Speaking to the media, Iqra, the Political Secretary at the Embassy of Pakistan, said that Riyadh Season has given Pakistani culture a significant platform.
She praised Saudi Arabia’s efforts in promoting global cultures, noting that such initiatives strengthen connections between diverse civilisations.
Abrar ul Haq expressed his gratitude to the Saudi General Entertainment Authority and the Ministry of Media for showcasing Pakistani culture on an international stage. He commended their efforts to promote harmony by celebrating the traditions of different nations.
