Two cops martyred, 4 Khawarij killed, 6 injured in Kurram gun battle

Two police personnel were martyred as Khawarij attack on Chinark Police Check Post in Central Kurram on Sunday, however, four terrorists were killed and 6 injured in police retaliatory action, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

According to security sources,2 police personnel martyred in exchange of fire. The martyred constable were identified as M Waheed and Fazlur Rehman while Constable Asghar got injured.

Exchange of fire between Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists and police continued. A large contingent of police has been dispatched to the area. 

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praises Kurram police for foiling Fitna-ul-Khawarij attack on police check post. In his message, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the professionalism of the police for killing 4 terrorists. Brave police personnel foiled the nefarious intentions of Fitna-ul-Khawarij by taking timely action. 

Naqvi paid tribute to 2 police personnel who lost their lives while fighting bravely against terrorists. Interior Minister expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyred personnel. He saluted the sacrifice of the martyred police personnel.
