Security of Bani Gala enhanced, ‘TLP protesters can enter Islamabad tomorrow’

The security of the Prime Minister’s residence at Bani Gala has been enhanced by the fear of the TLP protesters can enter Islamabad tomorrow in case of failure of the talks with the government.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the participants have been halted at Wazirabad till the outcome of the negotiations between the banned outfit TLP leaders and the government team.
The report said that the participants of the long march of the TLP would stay at Wazirabad till the next decision of the party leadership. And, they could move toward Islamabad on Sunday morning, the report said.
Following the situation, additional police personnel were deployed in Bani Gala carrying sticks and tear gases to use against the protesters if they tried to gather at the residence of the PM.
The security forces have also blocked the Imran Chowk at Bani Gali for general traffic and declared that no unauthorized person was allowed to go beyond the Imran Chowk.
Security has also been tightened at all business centres on GT Road in the Gujrat area and all hotels, petrol pumps and educational institutions have been closed.
While security forces have also started excavation of 20 feet deep, 20 feet wide and 600-meter long trench before the River Jhelum Bridge after Chenab River deploying police and rangers on both sides of the bridge.
Rangers have also been deployed at the entrances and exits of Wazirabad city to stop the long march participants for their further movement toward Islamabad.
On the other hand, the PM has barred the federal ministers from making harsh statements against the TLP after getting complaints from the Ulema delegation called on him at his residence Saturday noon.
