Two soldiers martyred, two terrorists killed in Awaran gunbattle

Two Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martyrdom and two terrorists were killed during an exchange of fire with terrorists in Khoro area of Balochistan’s Awaran district, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistani troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location and resultantly two terrorists were killed while two others sustained injuries.

However, during intense exchange of fire, 37-year-old Naib Subedar Asif Irfan, a resident of district Okara and 22-year-old Sepoy Irfan Ali, a resident of district Sargodha, having fought gallantly embraced martyrdom.

The ISPR statement said that sanitization of the area was carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.

Security Forces are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve, the statement further said.
