CM Afridi says KP govt should be taken into confidence in policy decision

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and other PTI leaders were not allowed to meet Imran Khan and no leader, including the Chief Minister, could get permission to meet PTI founder. 

Talking to media at Dahakal checkpoint near Adiala Jail, Khyber Paktunkhawa Chief Minister demanded that KP government should be taken into confidence in policy making decision. 

CM Afridi said the people of KP were not insects and KP was not a laboratory therefore KP government should be taken into confidence in policy making decisions. 

Talking about terrorism, CM said PTI and public were concerned over deaths of soldiers. He said public was also dying. He said civilians are also poor like poor soldiers. 

CM Afridi said poor and laymen children were dying in terrorism and senior officers children were safe. 

CM Afridi said all decision about the country were being made in closed doors. He said it was need of the hour that KP government should be taken into confidence during military operation otherwise intelligence-based operation will not succeed. 

Talking about meeting, CM Sohail Afridi said once again court ordered were flouted.  He said besides court, KP government had also written to federal government and Punjab Home Department for meeting but no one pay attention to it. 

KP Chief Minister said PTI was wondering what to do next. 

He said there were no differences within PTI ranks and all are on same page. He urged the Centre to provide due share of KP to its government. He said KP was deprived of profit of hydel power. 

Talking to media at Dahakal checkpoint, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja said that, “once again, we were not allowed to meet Imran Khan despite court’s orders”. 

Last week, the Superintendent of Adiala Jail had assured the Supreme Court that we will arrange a meeting. But the Chief Minister was not allowed to meet Imran Khan. 

Salman Raja said he had sent a list with his signature to the Superintendent of Adiala Jail for meeting but today an SH stopped shrugged his shoulders and said that the meeting cannot take place.
