Sindh cabinet opposes RLNG use, demands natural gas

The Sindh cabinet on Wednesday opposed RLNG supply in the province while approving allotment of land for laying gas pipelines in Malir, Thatta and Jamshoro, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah presided over the cabinet meeting at CM House with 25 items on the agenda.

The Cabinet approved Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) to destroy the land.
The cabinet members once again reiterated that Sindh does not want RLNG and Sindh should be given the natural gas produced by the province.
The TV channel reported that the Sindh Cabinet decided that the province should be provided with natural gas, not the RLNG.
The cabinet meeting was attended by provincial ministers, advisors, Chief Secretary, Chairman P&D and relevant secretaries.

The cabinet approved Rs13.5 million compensation package for the martyred and injured in an attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on June 26, 2020. The cabinet also approved a compensation package for three martyred policemen including Saeed, Shahbaz and Imtiaz.
The TV channel reported that the Sindh cabinet also discussed in detail about price of wheat and decided Sindh will announce the wheat price between 15 and 20 October.
Sindh cabinet also approved the USAid-funded projects to be exempted from Sindh sales tax.
Approval of Sindh Institute of Music and Performing Art (SIMPA) Act 2020 has also been granted.
