An advisory meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was held in Islamabad on Friday to draft the future strategy of the party, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.  

PTI Chairman Imran Khan chaired the advisory meeting, while Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry, Ali Zaidi, Hammad Azhar, and others attended the meeting. 

The participants discussed the country's political and economic situation extensively in the meeting. The meeting also took some important decisions to counter the government’s onslaught. 

Meanwhile, the maiden meeting of the newly formed PTI Chairman Advisory Council was held on Friday. 

The meeting was chaired by advocate Hamid Khan while Najeeb Haroon, Arshad Dad, Jamal Ansari, Khalid Masood Salim Jan, Yaqoob Azhar, and Bakhtiar Kasuri attended the meeting. Tasneem Noorani was a part of the meeting on the video link.

The meeting held a discussion on important issues including the responsibilities entrusted to the Council by the Tehreek-e-Insaf

Chairman. 

A detailed consultation on the scope and procedure of the Council in the maiden meeting was also held.  

The participants also discussed the preparation of working papers on policy-level topics related to national and organizational issues. 

 The meeting also agreed to submit the action plan to Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman for taking his approval. The meeting also gave its approval to Rauf Hasan as the official secretary of the advisory council
